The Honeymoon is Over

Peter decided to call it quits last night. Apparently the people he was working for didn't want him there anymore which made him not want to be there so it's a win/win situation...All joking aside, does anyone know anyone looking to hire an intelligent, talented, eloquent, charismatic, hard-working, first-year attorney with family values? The honeymoon may be over for Peter but I'm not ready to leave this place.

This Can't be Comfortable

Lately, Lauryn stays awake until she gets into trouble in the early evening and is sent to her room where she falls asleep on the floor or, as in this case, under her bed.

Happy Birthday Peter

Peter can no longer make fun of my age since he has now entered his 30s. To celebrate his b-day on Wednesday, we went to see some live music in the city. Trevor Garrod and Big Light played at The Make-Out Room. It was nice to be out together and listening to good music.

Say What?

I've always said that Peter and I are not "pet" people but now we have four hens and a bunny. We're still getting to know her. She's a 1-year-old, spayed female, cute, soft, and hard to catch. We found her on Craigslist for free. Her name is still somewhat undecided. Taylor says, "Sandy"; Peter says, "Cassidy"; Karen says, "Flopsy"; and Lauryn called her "Bunny Hop" today. What do you say?

A Trip to Rockridge

Mom and Bren were here last Monday on their way to New York. We took the BART to Rockridge and checked out the various shops on College Ave. Mom found her old apartment from when she was in Berkeley. I only have a few pictures from the day.
Lauryn slept from when we got off the BART until we returned to the station to come home. Bren got stuck carrying her the whole time.
